How to use it
- Delete the rows you are not doing. Everything totals on its own.
- Set your area factor at the top so the guide prices reflect your region.
- As quotes come in, type each one in and check it against the Costwise range beside it.
- Put what you actually pay in the final column and watch the budget dashboard update.
- Keep a contingency. 10% on a newer home, 15% or more on an older one, for the things you cannot see until work starts.
These are independent Costwise guide-price ranges, reviewed June 2026, not quotes for your specific job. A quote inside the range is a fair starting point; one well outside it is worth questioning. The figures match our guide pages, and the underlying data is also free to download as a CSV.
